調べてまとめたメモをシェアします。

Cross Classified Multilevel Models（CCMM）は、１９８０年ころより概念は提唱されているようですが(苦笑)、public healthではこれを用いた論文かなり少ない印象です。この方法論を使っただけでも新規性があると言えそうかなと思いました。

CCMMは、子ども（地域・学校）や労働者（地域・会社）には向いていますが、高齢者にはあまり向かないかもしれませんね。

CCMMを高齢者で適応できそうなのは、２回以上測定して居住地域が異なる、という特殊な状況くらいでしょうか。同一個人の反復測定だけでは、普通のマルチレベルで良いでしょうしね。
